LACNIC 2019, se realizó  en Punta Cana, República Dominicana, del  6 al 10 de mayo del presente, uno de los eventos de Internet más importante de la región que reúne a expertos y representantes de la academia, la sociedad civil, el mundo empresarial, gobiernos y profesionales de la industria de las telecomunicaciones.

El experto Jordi Palet consultor asociado de ITBussiness que viene trabajando con nosotros en proyectos de transición, implementación en IPv6 en el Perú, fue uno de los expositores de este evento, el cual compartió su experiencia en la implementación y la problemática en el despliegue IPv6.

Los despliegues de redes IPv4 están plagados de malas prácticas y dependen mucho de NAT, en vez de utilizar BGP para balancear y compartir cargas
